M. ELIZABETH “Liz” VAUGHN joined the firm in 2008 and works out of the firm’s Longview office handling all aspects of delinquent property tax matters. Liz has more than eight years of experience representing clients of all sizes in this field of law.

Liz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 1994. After doing post-baccalaureate work at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, she completed an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She received a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1999.

Liz is a member of the Order of Barristers. She was active in the advocacy competitions while attending Law School and was selected for the St. Mary’s Law School Texas Young Lawyers Association State Moot Court Team.

In her spare time Liz enjoys international travel, recreational sports, reading novels, and working with rescued animals.
