GILBERT T. BRAGG is the managing partner for the MVBA delinquent tax collection programs in Denton, Collin, Comal and Hays counties.  He has been a member of MVBA since 1978.  Over the years Gil has worked with virtually all of the Firm’s clients, providing legal advice and representation in all phases of delinquent tax collection litigation.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its committee on Ad Valorem Taxation.

Gil is originally from Baltimore, Maryland where his father was a Baptist minister. Gil attended Baylor University on a United States Air Force ROTC scholarship. He received a B.B.A. degree in 1972 along with a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Baylor University School of Law in 1973. After graduation from law school, he was promoted to the rank of Captain. He was a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force from 1974 until 1978.
